Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this sublime designer Andrew Varah eight person extra large dining table with matching suite of carver armchairs made in Burr Walnut and Amboyna wood

The suite is pure quality, very substantially made, the table weighs rather a lot being solid walnut, the timber cuts are simply glorious and glow in the right light as do the matching chairs

It is rare to come across a specially designed dining table which accommodates carver armchairs, usually they are much smaller and or only work with standard chairs

We have cleaned waxed and polished the piece from top to bottom, it may have some light patination from genuine age and honest use, the only point I can see is one of the chairs has some light scratches to the top back rest, otherwise they are mint

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
