This is a fine quality mahogany roll top desk from the very late Victorian period complete with the original working lock and escutcheon that is stamped ‘THE VICTORIA DESK’ ‘WARRANTED SCOTCH MANUFACTURE’. Absolutely stunning to look at and for the most obvious reasons. The beautiful panelling to all sides is fielded (bevelled) this allows you to use it off the wall. The cast brass handles are all super quality and allow the drawers to pull very smoothly. Comes into three main pieces and will go through almost any doorway.
