A rare, giant original French horse racing poster or mural, lithograph on paper, mounted on linen, in four panels joined to form one large image by Jacquot, circa 1930s, depicting various types of horse racing competitions, including jumping and steeple chase. The French title Allez aux courses (Go to the Races) is printed in script in the upper right hand corner with Sport, Plaisir (Pleasure), Elegance printed below it in blue. The dates of the event were never printed, because this came directly from the archive of the printer which explains its pristine condition.
Makes for a spectacular display, like scenic wallpaper. This is really 4 posters in one. The photos do not do it justice.
