This apothecary bank of drawers was designed and made circa 1900 in Belgium. It was made from pitch pine with cast iron art nouveau style handles and enamel name plates for the contents. The cabinet has retained a rich patina with some natural distressing and (old) repairs. The interior dimensions of the drawers are: DWH 21 x 27 x 12 and 16 cm. It originally came out of the pharmacy Het Verguld Schaap in the city of Mechelen.
