A domed, black & white enameled Art Nouveau advertising sign for Cabaret Fledermaus in Vienna. Artwork by Moriz Jung from the early 1900s, the production date is around the 1960s. High-quality workmanship, this sign is in excellent condition with marginally negligible patina, free of any damages. We are sure, this sign has never been displayed. A decorative object and recommended collectors piece.
Cabaret Fledermaus was founded by Gustav Klimt, Josef Hoffmann and Oskar Kokoschka in 1907 as a theater in Viennas first district. The full interior, furniture and fabrics were planned by Josef Hoffmann and executed by Wiener Werkstätte.
