Vintage Design
The busy universal scholar Piet Hein was a mathematician, physicist, designer and man of letters. Together with the mathematician Bruno Mathsson, he developed the geometric form of the “superellipse”. In poetry, he created the genre of gruks. A special form of short poems.
Hein created this bar stool in 1961, which is characterised by its filigree silhouette. At the same time, the furniture is extremely valuable and stable. The seat is covered with genuine leather.
Very good condition with minimal signs of use. Labelled on the underside.
