* The company was founded in 1886 by Ladislav Dobrovits, who was probably inspired by Michael Thonet’s success, who ran his bugholz factory in the immediate vicinity.
*The Tatra armchair was made of beech wood and covered with red-brown shellac, which reveals its beautiful grain.
