Caliph model bed with all-wood frame in French or one and a half square size. Rectangular-section components with laths of various sizes throughout the headboard and backboard. Designed by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova in ca. 1960. Vintage condition, wooden headboard panel misaligned due to use. Unrestored structure. Size in cm 155x204x78h headboard, 64h backboard A design piece of high craftsmanship and manufacture, very durable, with the frame made entirely of solid wood. Practical and comfortable, a now unobtainable design piece by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova.
