Lysberg & Hansen was an important Danish furniture maker and upholstery company . Founded in 1841 by the saddler Arentz , it was taken over in 1879 by AJ Lysberg (1840-1901). The company became Lysberg & Hansen in 1911, when cabinetmaker Waldemar Hansen joined the company and later in 1933 Lysberg, Hansen & Therp. The company enjoyed continued success throughout the 20th century, holding both Danish and Swedish Royal Warrantsthey were responsible for the decoration of the wedding of Princess Margrethe and Henri de Laborde de Montpezats in 1967.
