French Art Nouveau ebonized two door cabinet with double arched facade, lower shelf with mirrored back. Two cabinet doors with four inlaid and overlaid naturalistic panels of birds, butterflies and flowers in mother of pearl and bone. The carcass of the cabinet is ebonized wood with faux tortoiseshell insets; wonderful pagoda shaped top and carved ball and claw feet. Interior shelves have been replaced as has the interior backer board to the door panels (the panels are original). This most unusual cabinet is of small proportions being only 33″ wide x 16 1/2″ deep x 68 1/2″ high, circa 1880.
