This exceptional suite of six French Mahogany, hand carved Salon / Dining chairs to include a pair of Sphinx carved throne armchairs. A very rare and totally original set of French Victorian dining chairs. They have the original timber patina, the period castors and a mid century upholstery which has aged well. The chairs look expensive and important in any setting In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there are good honest signs of patina all over from century’s of use, structurally they are sound, the fabric has a few imperfections as you would expect, one side chair has a small rip in the back which has been restored Dimensions x4 standard chairs Height:- 93cm Width:- 47.5cm Depth:- 61cm Seat height:- 48.5cm Dimensions x2 carver throne armchairs Height:- 98cm Width:- 65cm Depth:- 81cm Seat height:- 48.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
