Vintage Design
This is a truly stunning custom made to order Versace mahogany and brass console bookcase A very high end commission, this was ordered around 12 years ago by the then richest lady in England and was installed in her home in Chelsea which was an extremely grand estate set up solely for visiting guests and family, the property was used sparsely during that period, as such it was recently sold
The piece is solid mahogany with a brass gallery around the base shelf which has the Versace mask in the middle, the front has two mahogany pillars topped with brass pineapples, there are two oversized very thick glass shelves which are curved around the corners In terms of the condition its is in fine very clean order throughout, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom. There is one small chip in a glass shelf and some light scratches in the glass from items being moved around, otherwise its in very good order
